As an associate professor at the University of South Florida, Dr. Hull, alongside Kelly Matthew, led pioneering clinical research with USF, Dr. Dom D’Agostino, and Levels Health, focusing on metabolic health. Meet Our Dedicated Team
Dr. Allison Hull
Allison Hull, DO is a practicing, dual board-certified Adult Internist and Pediatrician with Florida Medical Clinic/Orlando Health in Tampa Bay with greater than sixteen years of patient care experience. As founder and co-creator of an evidence-based, clinically proven multidisciplinary wellness program, Dr. Hull has become globally recognized in the field of metabolic health. Her strategic protocol, focusing on the science of behavior change, has proven effective to both prevent and reverse multiple metabolic disease states, including diabetes and Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Fatty Liver Disease. As an Associate Professor with the University of South Florida, Dr. Hull conducted clinical research on carbohydrate-restriction and ketogenic nutrition as a metabolic therapy.
As the creator of an award-winning corporate wellness program, Dr. Hull has utilized her expertise to foster the culture of companies and the lives within them. Most recently, Dr. Hull has become the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of the R³ Institute, whose mission is to be the conduit between hope and fulfillment in effort to support lives of all ages. She is a physician, speaker, educator, and advocate with the goal of transforming patient care.
Dr. Hull received her medical training at Des Moines University School of Osteopathic Medicine and her Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida. She completed her residency in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of South Florida where she was Chief Resident in both Internal Medicine and the combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics programs. She is board certified both by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of The Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of her exemplary service, integrity, clinical excellence, and compassion in patient care.
Kelly Matthew is an accomplished wellness professional with over 20 years of experience in health education, coaching, and program development. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Ohio University and is a certified Intrinsic Health Coach® and HeartMath® Mentor. Kelly brings a unique blend of expertise, empathy, and strategic thinking to her work, consistently designing impactful wellness initiatives that drive measurable results.
Throughout her career, Kelly has held leadership positions across diverse settings, with a primary focus on Corporate Wellness. She has successfully developed and implemented strategic wellness programs that have led to meaningful outcomes, including enhanced employee engagement, weight loss, and reductions in A1C levels and stress.
Prior to co-founding The R³ Institute Kelly co-founded and co-created an evidence-based, clinically validated multidisciplinary wellness program. This program, grounded in the science of behavior change, has demonstrated effectiveness in both preventing and reversing various metabolic conditions, including type 2 diabetes and Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Fatty Liver Disease. Its sustained results have led to clinical trials and publication in the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB Journal).
Her professional philosophy is rooted in empowerment—meeting individuals where they are, nurturing curiosity, and fostering personal growth. Her “why” is clear: to inspire people to embrace their unique potential while building meaningful connections with themselves and others.
